How it looks?

Why?

In the beginning, I needed a visual interface to jpegtran.

The image viewing is similar to GQView – in fact, I share thumbnails, so if you use JDigiToolbox together with GQView, thumbnails are generated only once. So far, GQView is much better for viewing.

Later I added one-click downloading from camera (it mounts the camera, copies files, removes them, umounts camera, and generates thumbnails).

Even later I added work with a list, so now it is possible to select some photos and make symbolic links -- saves and allows improving photos at one place.

As I like simple web gallery, I added a button for creation of web -- it creates a directory web, resizes images to 800x600, generates thumbnails and (X)HTML pages. All you need is to copy it to web site. An example of a gallery: Stallman in Prague

An important feature JDigiToolbox supports is sound files provided by (my) camera (plays the associated sound) and text comments in file IMAGE.txt.

An EXIF information about date and time is shown in thumbnail.

A note to Windows users -- Saving a list doesn't currently work (as it calls UNIX 'ln -s' command).
